We’ve streamlined the booking process to make it stress-free, so you can save time and get to the good stuff.

From choosing the perfect package to planning payments, this is your step-by-step guide to locking in your dream trip. Ready to get started?

1

Step 1: Draft Your Dream Trip

Choose your package and preferred travel dates. Each choice shapes your adventure, from the wildlife you might see to the wilderness you’ll explore.

2

Step 2: Connect & Check Availability

Get in touch with our team by email or call +1 (604) 905-4994, and we’ll help you make important decisions about your trip.

3

Step 3: Finalize Your Travel Plans

If your preferred dates are available, we’ll hold your spots for 48 hours while you finalize your travel plans.

4

Step 4: Book Your Trip

Fill out our Digital Waiver and Guest Booking Forms we’ll send you via email. It’s important for a smooth and personalized experience.

5

Step 5: Secure Your Spot

Ready to turn your dream into reality? Submit your first payment via FlyWire, our secure online payment platform. This confirms your reservation and brings you one step closer to the wild.

Important note: We’re as committed to your trip as you are. Once your booking is made, we begin making arrangements specifically for your adventure. As a result, this payment is non-refundable.

6

Step 6: Reservation Confirmation

A milestone worth celebrating! Once we receive your initial payment, your adventure is locked in. Expect a confirmation email shortly after your payment is processed.

7

Step 7: Safeguard Your Adventure

We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation from Acera Insurance for your peace of mind. While we hope you won’t need it, this insurance can be invaluable in unforeseen circumstances.

8

Step 8: Prepare for Entry Into Canada

If you’re traveling internationally, familiarize yourself with Canadian entry requirements on the Government of Canada website. Don’t forget that non-Canadians/US citizens will need to apply for a Canadian Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA).

9

Step 9: Book Your Travel

Most guests reach Tweedsmuir Park Lodge by air. Pacific Coastal Airlines offers daily 70-minute flights from Vancouver’s South Terminal (YVR) to Bella Coola Airport (QBC), flying over some of British Columbia’s most dramatic terrain. The South Terminal is a quick taxi from the main airport or about an hour from downtown. When you land in Bella Coola, round-trip group transfers between the airport or ferry terminal and the lodge are included in your package.

If you’re flying, we strongly recommend arriving in Vancouver the day before your flight to Bella Coola to allow for possible delays and give yourself a more relaxed travel experience. We recommend staying at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel in the Main Terminal at Vancouver International Airport (YVR). As our guest, you’ll enjoy exclusive savings on your stay.

Driving is also an option, though it’s a longer journey—12 to 14 hours from Vancouver. If you choose to drive or take a ferry, receive detailed directions and helpful tips for the remote stretches of road that lead into the valley.

10

Step 10: The Final Countdown

Your second payment installment is due 90 days before your trip start date. We’ll send you a friendly reminder when the time comes. For those booking within 90 days, full payment is required upfront to secure your spot.

11

Step 11: Safety Briefing

Complete our online safety briefing—essential prep for your wilderness experience. Don’t worry, you’ll receive hands-on guidance when you arrive, but this online prep will give you a head start.

12

Step 12: Prepare for Your Trip

It’s time to get ready for your adventure. We’ll send you a suggested packing list, travel tips, and advice on what to expect, so you feel completely prepared.
