Basic Content

Basic Content is the most standard component, containing an optional Heading, Body and Links. The heading is a plain text field, with an accompanying setting to control the heading level (h1-h6).

The Body uses what’s called a WISIWYG field (What You See Is What You Get). It gives a visual approximation of what the content will look like on the front end and provides a formatting a much like a word processor or email.

The Links subsection allows you to add any number of links, and set attributes such as the link style (default: plain text) and whether it opens in a new tab. For internal site links, it is recommended that you use Content References.

Basic Content with Background

Within the Basic content layout there is a toggle to “Use background”, this is an example of what that will look like.
