What to Bring

The weather in our coastal mountains can change quickly and you will want to be ready for pretty much anything. Below is a quick list to help you remember all the things that will make your trip comfortable.

*Note: All chalets are supplied with shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, soap and hair dryers. In addition, the lodge sells toiletries, sun screen, chap stick and shaving products.

Activity Wear & Accessories

  • Hat (sun cap and a warm hat)
  • Sun glasses
  • Outer jacket and pants
  • Thin under layers / long underwear
  • Medium inner layers
  • Thick inner layer of fleece
  • Gloves or mitts
  • Good worn in hiking boots
  • Warm socks (several pairs)

Travel Items

  • Valid Passport
  • Book
  • Camera with lots of memory
  • Binoculars
  • Fishing rod – we supply fishing gear but you can bring your own rod if you want.
  • Note Book and Pen
  • Cash – there are no bank machines at the lodge but there are in the town of Hagensborg 35 minutes from the lodge. We accept CDN or US cash and MasterCard or Visa credit cards
