Donna Feledichuk is a multi-international award-winning wildlife photographer, educator, and passionate conservation advocate. With over 30 years of experience as a teacher and a doctorate in education, she brings a rare blend of technical skill, storytelling depth, and the heart of a true naturalist to every image she creates.
Named one of the top 16 wildlife photographers in Canada, her photography has been featured in National Geographic (Español), BBC Wildlife, and Canadian Geographic—where her work recently graced the cover.
Donna won the 2023 Nature Canada’s Photo Contest, Canon Canada's Nature Through Your Lens Contest in 2024, and earned a bronze medal in the prestigious 2024 World Nature Photography Awards. She was a finalist—Top 3—in the highly regarded Nature Photographer of the Year portfolio category. Her images have consistently placed in the top tiers of major international competitions, including NANPA’s Showcase, Share the View, and Travel Photographer of the Year.
But beyond the accolades, Donna is known for her ethical approach to wildlife photography and her commitment to conservation. She is a proud member of the Canadian Conservation Photographers Collective, a group dedicated to using visual storytelling to drive awareness and action on pressing environmental issues. Her goal isn’t just to take beautiful images—but to inspire others to photograph with purpose, advocate for the natural world, and create art that drives meaningful change.
Through her workshops and phototours, Donna empowers others to elevate their craft, connect more deeply with their subjects, and walk away with more than just great photos—but a renewed sense of purpose and possibility.
