 COVID-19 UPDATE

We recognize that you may be hesitant to book in these uncertain times. But good news! We want to allay your fears by making booking a trip with us RISK FREE.

*** For 2020 Summer Only ***

Deposits - No deposit required!! Yes, no deposit
Balance -  Due 30 days prior to the trip if it is certain to go ahead (i.e. there are not any travel restrictions). If, within 30 days, you are unable to reach us due to COVID related circumstances such as; a governmental travel ban, provincial guidelines recommending you not to travel, or other situations outside your control, we will not require payment until it looks certain your trip will happen.
Cancelling outside 30 days - No fees, just let us know so we can free up our availability. We would be more than happy to reschedule your trip for a future date.
Cancelling within 30 days:

  • If you have not paid us - The only thing you need to do is inform us you are cancelling. We would be happy to re-schedule your reservation for a trip in the next 2 summers, and as a bonus we will hold the price at the 2020 rate as long as we receive a 50% deposit which is fully refundable until 90 days before your trip.
  • If you have paid us - If you are unable to reach us due to Covid related circumstances such as; a governmental travel ban, provincial guidelines recommending you not to travel, or other situations outside your control, we will fully price-match your package with the equivalent trip in the next 2 summers, and you will not need to pay the yearly rate increase! If you would like to cancel within 30 days, but not due to COVID related circumstances, then our standard policy takes effect(i.e. no refund).

Deposits - 50% deposit which is 100% refundable up to 90 days prior
Balance -  90 days 
Cancelling within 90 days - If you are unable to reach us due to Covid related circumstances such as; a governmental travel ban, provincial guidelines recommending you not to travel, or other situations outside your control, we will fully price-match your package with the equivalent trip in the next 2 summers, and you will not need to pay the yearly rate increase! If you would like to cancel within 90 days, but not due to COVID related circumstances, then our standard policy takes effect (i.e. no refund).

The below is our standard policy. As long as the above COVID-19 policy is displayed on our site, you can take advantage of that policy and ignore the below.

We hope you do not need to cancel your trip! However, if unforeseen circumstances happen, here is how our Refund Policy will affect you;

  • If you cancel within 90 days of your trip start date - no refund will be given
  • If you cancel outside 90 days of your trip start date (ie more than 90 days before your trip) - we will refund 50% of your deposit. Alternatively, you can choose to keep 100% of the deposit on file to use towards a future trip!

If over the course of your stay we are not able to provide all the activities outlined in the itinerary there will be a refund issued for the missed activity. The most likely activities to be cancelled are the heli accessed activities and the refund will be equal the the value of the unused flying time.

We do not accept liability where the cause of a failure in your holiday arrangements is due to unusual or unforeseeable circumstances or events which neither we, nor our servants, agents or suppliers could have anticipated or avoided even with the exercise of all due care (e.g. wildfires, airline strikes etc).

Cancellation Insurance

Tweedsmuir Park Lodge VERY STRONGLY recommends taking out trip cancellation insurance. Due to our seasonal nature and large financial commitments, we cannot make exceptions to our strict Refund Policy. We recommend Lifestyle Financial for all your travel insurance needs.
