Snorkelling with the Salmon is family friendly and educational!

Join expert river guides, and Fisheries biologists on a raft-supported, river swim, down the Atnarko River. You will be in the heart of British Columbia's Tweedsmuir Provincial Park and the Great Bear Rainforest.

Swim with hundreds to thousands of Pink and Spring Salmon. While in the nsullied waters of this British Columbia coastal river. You will see, first hand, a remarkable habitat.

Expect to see juvenile Salmon, Trout, adult spawning Salmon and various species of underwater life, including Mussels and resident Whitefish.  Knowledgeable biologists will be on hand to answer your questions, and point out the fascinating features of these sensitive ecosystems. These experts will also accompany you underwater.

You will enjoy a day on the river and we will serve you hot tea, cold drinks and snacks. We provide transportation, snacks, wetsuits, mask, fins and snorkels.

Our comfortable wetsuits and spacious rafts allow you to dip in and out of the waters of the Atnarko River, at your leisure. Soak up the views of the river, the dramatic landscapes, and the fascinating underwater world of the Pacific Salmon.

**Note:: Tours are available during the months of July and August. 24 hours advanced booking is recommended during peak season, which is July 20th to August 10th, 2009. Tours are suitable for children older than 10 years old, and must be accompanied by a parent.

Snorkelling is suitable for all fitness and adventure levels, with no experience required. Guides are qualified ®PADI Dive Masters and provide hands on snorkelling training as part of your tour.

$330 plus taxes (price based on two to three guests) and $110 plus taxes for each additional guest. Trips are five hours long and dependent on the weather and river conditions.
