Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is a warm, family style lodge with all the comforts of home and is located in Bella Coola, British Columbia, Canada.

The historic Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is nestled within Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, the largest protected park in British Columbia. 70 kilometres by road, from the Bella Coola Harbour, the lodge is remotely situated on 60 acres of wilderness land. Originally built in the early 1930's as a hunting lodge, the lodge was rebuilt in 1952 to accommodate those seeking out a more eco friendly adventure. The lodge is well known for its warm, family style environment and has a calming effect on those who visit.

There are two huge fireplaces in the lodge and you may choose to just relax in front of a roaring fire. You can visit our new spa facility and soak in the outdoor hot tub after a big day of Bella Coola adventures. Then retire to the lodge deck to sip on a beverage, before dinner, where you can peacefully enjoy glimpses of the wildlife and breathtaking mountain views.

Tweedsmuir Park Lodge has exquisite views and  is situated near the base of an 8,000 foot rock peak. You are just steps from the Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, King, Pink and Silver Salmon-filled Atnarko and Bella Coola rivers, both world renowned for fly fishing.

Tweedsmuir Provincial Park and the Bella Coola valley are abundant with wildlife and well removed from civilization. Where the majestic Coast Range Mountains meet the lush valley floor, and unspoiled rivers, the scenery here is unrivalled. The valley has a rich and diverse mosaic of culture, which includes the Nuxalk First Nations, descendents of the Norwegian settlers and various other ethnic blends.
