Horseback Adventures

The Bella Coola Valley offers up a stunning, and serene setting for all manner of horseback riding. You may choose between riding lessons and trail rides, or both.

Trail rides, of one or two hours, will deliver you onto the lush greenery of the private trails winding along the Bella Coola River. This a great opportunity to be a part of the wildness of the valley, ride to an ancient cedar forest, watch as Eagles soar carelessly above you, and view bold, sheer rock faces.

Riding lessons are available both for the novice and the experienced rider. Your instructor will teach you the tricks of the trade in a peaceful environment. Hoseback riding is available both indoors and outdoors.

Rates::

$80 an hour plus taxes. Prices based on a maximum of four guests per tour. A shuttle service for Tweedsmuir Park Lodge guests is included.

Guests should be in reasonable physical shape and we request our guests to inform us, and their guide, if there is any medical or physical limitation we need to know about.
