Bella Coola Heli Sports purchases the historic Tweedsmuir Park Lodge.....now offering a year round adventure destination. Read the press release. Air Canada changes sports equipment procedures. Starting December 12, 2007, for travel on or after January 7, 2008, customers will be asked to register their sports equipment online at the time of booking or via the Air Canada call center. By registering prior to check-in, passengers will continue to benefit from applicable waivers on the excess piece fee(s) for hockey sticks, ski boots, and snowboard boots as well as the oversize fee for skis, snowboards, hockey sticks, and hockey bags. As of January 7, 2008 customers who elect not to register their sporting equipment will be subject to all applicable excess piece and oversize fees when checking in at the airport on the day of departure. Changes to Pacific Coastal Airlines baggage weight. Please note that our charter provider has changed the baggage weight requirement from 75lbs to 50 lbs (22.7 kilos) per traveller. GST changes for International visitors. Please note that the GST is now only 2.5 % for our International visitors.
