These regions are unmarred and teeming with wildlife.For you avid birders, you can observe many species of birds. See Bald Eagles, endangered Trumpeter Swans, Hummingbirds, Owls, Falcons, Hawks, and Kingfishers, to name but a few. Tweedsmuir South Provincial Park / Hunlen Falls/ Lonesome Lake (PDF) Viewing Highlights:: The endangered Trumpeter Swans are visible in the open waters from late October to mid April. Bella Coola Estuary The estuary area is situated where the freshwater of the Bella Coola River enters the salt water of Bentinck Arm in Bella Coola. Viewing Highlights:: The estuary is used by waterfowl during migration and for wintering. Look for Trumpeter Swan, Canada Goose, Mallard, American Wigeon, Barrow's Goldeneye, Bufflehead and Common Merganser.
